"Wish you could turn off the questions, turn off the voices, turn off all sound.
Yearn to close out the ugliness, close out the filthiness, close out all light.
Long to cast away yesterday, cast away memory, cast away all jeapordy.
Pray you could somehow stop uncertainty, somehow stop the loathing, somehow stop the pain.
Act on your impulse,
swallow the bottle,
cut a little deeper,
put the gun to your chest."

-Mental Hospital-
There is a run down mental hospital called SunnyShore Asylum. The food is horrible, the paint on the walls are chipping off, the garden has flowers wilting everywhere, the patients are insane and the doctors probably even worse but you must put up with it because from now on, it's part of your everyday life.
Are you ready to enter the asylum?

1. You may have up to 2 characters, and only 2.
2. Profanity is alright, but don't make your character cuss in every sentence.
3. Originality is key to get accepted. I will kick you if you try to make your character like someone elses.
4. Make your characters real. Don't make them perfect. Give them some flaws.
5. Basically no major Mary Sues :I
6. Do some research about you characters disease if they are a patient. Give reasons why they have it. Like was it hereditary or ect.?
7. Try keeping this serious but of course the occasional goofing off is always allowed.

Character Sheet:
Name: Dr. Mackenzie Norris
Age: 22
Patient or Doctor or Nurse?: Doctor
Personality: Still having that childish side to her, Mackenzie is a very unprofessional doctor who truly cares about her patients but has funny ways of showing it. She tends to get off task easily and tries to ease people by cracking a lame joke and laughing at her own incompetence and stupidity. She gets nervous easily though, biting her nails when she does, a nasty habit formed over many years. She feels guilty easily if anyone accuses her of being a bad person or friend, taking it to heart and believing it sometimes. Little things make her happy, like colorful gift wrap or bright colored bows, cute animals, anything like that. She gives off a cheerful mood, aiding her when she works with patients because it just seems to rub off on them.
Biography: From a young age, Mackenzie had always wanted to help people. Her mother had suffered from depression and committed suicide when Mackenzie was almost too young to remember. She decided she would dedicate her life making people's lives happier. She practiced by talking to her dolls when she was six years old, asking them about their problems, but knowing fully well that they couldn't answer. Once she was older, she was always ready to be a shoulder to cry on for her friends, although a lot of the times they leaned to someone else. She was involved in school a lot, singing in the choir, painting, acting, was on the swimming team and was even Class President in her Senior Year. She had a close relationship with her dad but was able to cope when he passed away the summer she graduated high school. She studied hard through high school and college, and was able to graduate with a degree in Psychology, as well in medicine and Physical Therapy. After months of searching for a job, she was employed at SunnyShore Asylum as the Chief of Medicine, head of Psychology and doing some Physical Therapy as well.
Appearance: She has short windswept hair, a golden brown color and deep set green eyes with long dark eyelashes. Her skin is fair, and she is tall and lean from her years of swimming. She is most often found wearing her uniform, simple casual clothes under it. She wears a little too much eye liner and always carries lip balm with her. Her face is heart shaped, and her smile is big and wide, already having faint laugh lines from being happy most of the time.

Years working: 1 year at SunnyShore
Specialties: Psychology, Physical Therapy, Physician
Character Sheet:
Name: Lucas N. Wilson
Age: 14
Patient or Doctor or Nurse?: Patient
Personality: He seems very sweet, almost always found smiling, but looking closely, his smiles are always full of hysteria. He likes to talk a lot, just not to the voices. He always wants to be around someone, therefore always needing a roommate who would put up with his chatter. He's very open to meeting new people, but hates it when people bring up his illness, usually screaming at them and then breaking into loud sobs. A lot of times he'll even cry without meaning too, always apologizing incessantly afterwards. He tends to tease others a lot, to the point of insulting and hurting them but he does thiswithout meaning to.
Biography: Lucas was seemingly happy boy, his parents having no idea that he had Schizophrenia. They thought he was perfect and wonderful as many parents did. They found him one day, talking to himself in his room, his voice almost reaching yelling. 'Leave me alone!' he screamed, throwing a trophy he had gotten at the mirror. His parents immediately sought for help but each counselor told them he needed to be put in a hospital. Finally, they gave in and they put him in SunnyShore, because it was the most they could afford. He was 8 when admitted. His parents never came back to get him.
Appearance: He has long jet black hair that he refuses to cut unless it's way past his ears. His eyes are crystal blue and he has considerably noticeable bags under his eyes because of lack of sleep. He is tall for his age and too skinny although he eats as much as 20 year old male. He has a piercing in his lip which he was allowed to get by the doctors for his 14th birthday. He has a toothy grin and an eerie smile, glints of hysteria and madness in his eyes sometimes. He is always wearing his SunnyShore patient uniform, but those rare days that the doctors let him go out, he usually wears his dark gray hoodie and black jeans.

Skylark -
Character Sheet:
Name: Alice VanGuard
Age: 16
Patient or Doctor or Nurse?:Patient.
Personality:Having the disorder she was diagnosed with,Alice has mainly two personalities. Her own personality is that of a mature young lady, quiet and calm with a protectvie nature. She is very inelligent but, tends to act like a naive child to avoid trouble.Despite appearing to be an obedient girl,Alice only really behaves so she doesn't get in trouble,it's her insinct to survive. When she finds something/someone she treasures, her methods of protecting them can be seen as...unorthodox.
Her alter ego, whom she names Alistair/Ali,is a male persona, therefore when he assumes control,he acts more boyish than Alice. He is Alice's protector and doesn't understand a lot of emotions like pain, loneliness or remorse. All he cares is to protect Alice and whatever she wants to protect so she isn't hurt. When he speaks,he can be seen as posh and blunt, less polite than Alice.
Biography:Alice had always been raised as an only child by her strict parents.Oberhearing her parents convensation when she was five-years-old revealed to her that she had a younger twin who died during birth. The gender is still a mystery to her and at that young age,she didn't understand 'death'.Ever since her discovery, she has had a fascination with her reflection, talking to it and treating it like she imagined she would with her twin. That behavior split her personality into two,the new persona growing alongside Alice. Her fear of being alone caused her to embrace the new voice inside her.Her parents never realised because they were both usually at work, leaving their responsible and mature daughter alone at home. When they did realise the extent of her disorder was when the teachers phoned them to tell them that their daughter attacked a bully at school. The truth was that Alistair was trying to protect Alice who was suffering from constant abuse from her classmates.Out of grief and helplessness,Alice's parents sent her to the SunnyShore Asylum.
Appearance:Being half Chinese,Alice has long raven black hair, layered slightly at teh top and the longest layer reaches the base of her spine. Her skin is unusually pale, but not sickly pale. She also has heterochromia, where her left eye is dark brown and her right eye is a slightly red-ish colour which she usually covers with her side fringe. Her favourite colour is blue so most of her stylish clothes are of that colour. She loves fashion but loves wearing her shirt and waistcoat with a mini-skirt and leggings.
When she 'becomes' Alistair, she ties her longer layers into a pony-tail to create the illusion of shorter hair. Her side fringe is pinned back to reveal her right eye and she would wear boy's clothes which are similar to her normal ones.Crossdressing is a usual thing for her and keeps her more sane...
Involuntary or Voluntary Admission?:Involuntary.
Time there:6 months.
Diagnosis:Severe dissociative identity disorder
